Also known as "Ana Aesthetic" to most of the on-line world, Meredith has worked in broadcasting since 1996. Her first big "break" came in 2000 when she was invited to be part of Radio Sci Fi, a syndicated radio talk show focusing on all things geek. She was a host, producer and one of the driving forces behind the four-year program. She left in the early part of 2004 to pursue a career in fashion/costume design. Missing the world of media too much, Meredith returned, but found a new path in television. After working as a host on a jewelry shopping network, she stepped behind the scenes and made a break in television news, where she continues to work as a field producer and writer. Meredith also works as a actor, model and commercial voice over artist; lending her voice to local and national commercials.
At conventions, Meredith runs an array of panels from costume design, to modeling and makeup techniques, to the world of broadcasting. With nearly a decade of public speaking behind her, Meredith is a beloved host and emcee at many events. When not in costume, you can find Meredith scoping out the dealers room and artist alley for new things to clutter her home with.
After work, Meredith unwinds by playing video games, reading comic books and spending time with her friends. An advocater of animals, Meredith takes care of her six adopted cats, pound puppy (well, giant hound dog now) and a testy kingsnake. She also works with the Heroes Alliance, a charitible organization dedicated to doing good for the community at large.
